Power supply and distribution

The WEK1, the power supply and air-conditioning module is a combined power supply, intended to be installed in or attached to cabins or vehicles.

It has these essential tasks:

• Supply the electrical consumers of the working space inside the container with electrical power (230V 50Hz AC) using an external power supply line via an isolating transformer.
• Conditioning temperature inside the container at different ambient temperatures to a temperature tolerable for the staff and to a level safe for the installed equipment. The difference in cooling mode between outdoor and indoor temperature should be max. 15K, for ergonomic reasons.

WEK2 is intended to be attached to vehicles or cabins and has five essential tasks:

• Supply the electrical consumers of the working space inside the container with electrical power (400/230V 50Hz AC) using an external power supply line.
• Supply the electrical consumers with electrical power (24 GS) in the container.
• Distribution of power and securing the cabin loads (AC/DC distribution).
• Charge the FM battery (internal/external).
• Conditioning temperature inside the container at different ambient temperatures to a temperature tolerable for the staff and to a level safe for the installed equipment. The difference in cooling mode between outdoor and indoor temperature should be max. 15K.

WEK4 is a combined power supply, intended for installation in technical rooms of containers.

It has two main tasks:

• Supply the electrical consumers with electrical energy (400/230V 50Hz AC) inside the container using an external power supply line.
• Conditioning temperature inside the container at different ambient temperatures to a temperature tolerable for the staff and to a level safe for the installed equipment. The difference in cooling mode between outdoor and indoor temperature should be max. 15K.

• Supply of AC power consumers in DC-powered systems
• 19″ design or customized designs
• Input: 24V DC vehicle power supply (optional: 12V)
• Output: 230V AC 50Hz 1000VA to 3000VA
• For mobile use
• Pure sine wave power for sensitive consumers
• Electronic overload and short circuit protection
• Under- and over-voltage shutdown

No shielded cables required to meet the EMC requirements.

• Charge the backup batteries / all battery types
• 19″ design or customized designs
• Floating design
• U/I control for on-board networks with and without battery
• No discharge of the battery (even when switched off)
• Devices connected in parallel to increase power
• “Load Dump” fixed version, makes parallel connection with charge controller possible
• To meet the EMC requirements no shielded cables required (Option: Output connector with shield connection)

Universally applicable standard system with proven safety for these possible demands:

• Automatic correct rotation even in case of inversion of its power supply polarity
• RS 232 interface to higher-level computer
• Monitoring processor freely programmable by PC in Basic or in programming language C
• Measurement of voltage and frequency of all electrical systems power supply, diesel, UPS and DC supply
• Measurement and monitoring of the cabin temperature
• Integrated distribution for rectifier and inverter voltage wiring system
• Shock tested for mobile use to 25g/11 msec.
